Based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Marcus Albernaz is focusing on the Brazilian operations contributing to the establishment and oversight of projected financial models per sector, market analysis, competitive intelligence as well as overall strategic partnerships and analysis of deal flow.
Marcus has four years investment analyses and financial market activities prior to joining Burrill & Company.

 His previous professional activities were at Banco UBS Pactual and Rio Bravo Investimentos. At Rio Bravo Investimentos, he served as a member of an analyst team covering Venture Captal investments, with direct and active participation in strategic, commercial and administrative decisions. At UBS Pactual he was responsible for structuring transactions involving futures as well as options and currency arbitrage.

Marcus is an economist and graduated from PUC-Rio in 2005
